Card Usage Requirements
  • PIN: refers to the four digit Personal Identification Number set by the cardholder through all e-Dirham ATMs/CDMs or through all FAB ATMs/CDMs to access the functionalities of the ATM machines.
  • Activation Code: refers to the number printed on the receipt of the first card load to enable you to set a Passcode.
  • Passcode: refers to the eight digit number set by the cardholder that is used for accessing the functionalities of the e-Dirham G2 website, accessing the e-Dirham Call Centre services and proceeding with online payments on the e-Dirham G2 subscribed entities’ websites.

There are three functions associated with the Passcode which include : Set Passcode, Change Passcode and Reset Passcode. Before you can set a Passcode you need the e-Dirham Card number and the Activation code (Note: the activation code is needed to set the Passcode on all channels except for the ATM/CDM machine).

If you enter an invalid Passcode more than 3 consecutive times in the e-Dirham Call Center, e-Dirham Website or during an online transaction, the Passcode will be blocked.

 

1. Set the PIN code at the e-Dirham or FAB ATM/CDM machines:
  • Please insert the card in the designated slot
  • Please select your preferred language
  • Please enter your new 4 digit PIN (Personal Identification Number)
  • Please re-enter your 4 digit PIN for confirmation
  • Please take your card and confirmation receipt

 

2. Set Passcode:

The card holder can set Passcode through one of the following channels:

  • e-Dirham G2 Call Centre Toll free number: 800MOF (800663)
  • All e-Dirham G2 ATMs/CDMs
  • All FAB ATMs/CDMs
  • E-Dirham G2 Website www.edirhamG2.gov.ae

 

To set a Passcode you need your:
  • Card number
  • Activation code (Note: the activation code is needed to set the Passcode on all channels except for the ATM/CDM machine)

 

Setting the Passcode on the e-Dirham or FAB ATM/CDM Machines:
  • Please select the “e-Dirham/Instant Deposit” icon on the welcome screen
  • Please select the preferred language
  • Please select the “e-Dirham transactions” icon
  • Please select the “Set/Reset Passcode" icon
  • Please insert the card in the designated slot
  • Please take the card
  • Please enter the new 8 digit Passcode number
  • Please re-enter the 8 digit Passcode number to confirm
  • Please select the "Proceed” icon
  • Please take the confirmation receipt

 

3. Reload the e-Dirham cards through the e-Dirham G2 or FAB ATMs/CDMs:

You can reload all three e-Dirham cards (Red Al Haslah, Blue Al Haslah and Gold Al Haslah) through the e-Dirham G2 ATMs/CDMs or the FAB ATM/CDM machines.

  • Please select the “e-Dirham/Instant Deposit” icon on the welcome screen
  • Please select the preferred language
  • Please select the “e-Dirham transactions” icon
  • Please select the “Load/Reload” icon
  • Please insert your card in the designated slot or enter your card number
  • Please take your card
  • Please insert the cash notes into the designated slot – Maximum of 30 notes (5 AED notes are not accepted)
  • Please confirm the deposit amount by selecting the “Proceed” icon
  • Please take the transaction receipt

 

4. Withdraw cash from the e-Dirham Cards:
  • Please insert the card in the designated slot
  • Please select the preferred language
  • Please enter your 4 digit PIN number
  • Please select the withdrawal amount
  • Please select the “Yes” icon to print out your receipt
  • Please take your card, cash and the receipt
Our Latest Services
  • eVouchers

    The new system will accept one-time-use electronic vouchers with limited validity and limited amounts.

  • eDebit

    Payment of service fees through direct debit from your bank account to the service providers’ account (Will be available in all banks operating in the UAE that are integrated with the e-Dirham G2 system).

  • eDirect

    The new system will allow direct debit from your bank account to reload your e-Dirham G2 Cards.

  • eMobile (FAB’s Arrow Service):

    The new system will allow for payments for government & non-government service fees for e-Dirham merchants as well as reloading the e-Dirham cards through mobile phones (Available through FAB’s Arrow service).

  • eKiosks

    The new system provides electronic kiosks which are additional channels to pay for services. Kiosk machines will be distributed across the UAE.

  • eWallets

    The new system will allow this online payment scheme that functions as a carrier of e-cash in the same way that a wallet is used to carry real cash for doing a physical transaction in an actual shop. The new system will also allow online reload through the electronic wallet.

Register your e-Dirham G2 Cards (Al haslah Cards)
1. Full Registration:

Fully registering your Al haslah cards will enable you to enjoy:

  • Higher card limits
  • Higher limits for load/reload/use
  • Block lost/stolen cards through the e-Dirham G2 Call centre Toll free: 800MOF (800663) available 24/7
  • Redemption of card balance
  • Replacement of your damaged Al haslah Cards and transferring of the current balance to a new card
  • Reload your Blue Al haslah Card
  • Purchase/Load/Reload your Gold Al haslah Card
2. Short Registration:

Short registering your Al haslah cards will enable you to enjoy:

  • Block lost/stolen cards through the e-Dirham G2 Call centre Toll free: 800MOF (800663) available 24/7
  • Redemption of card balance
  • Replacement of your damaged Al haslah Cards and transfer of the current balance to a new card
  • Reset Passcode
Register your Blue Al haslah and Red Al haslah Card:

Short Registration:

Can be done through the e-Dirham G2 website or by calling the e-Dirham G2 Call centre and speaking to one of the agents without having to visit the FAB branches for both the Blue Al haslah and the Red Al haslah cards.

Full Registration:

For the Blue Al haslah Card, full registration is done through the FAB branches only.

Full registration for the Red Al haslah Card can be done through FAB branches or initiated through the e-Dirham G2 website and completed by visiting any FAB branch.

Short Register through:

e-Dirham G2 Website:

Passcode is used to short register in the e-Dirham G2 website .

  • Please visit the e-Dirham G2 website:
    www.eDirhamG2.gov.ae <
  • Please login into the website using your card number and the Passcode
  • Please select “Short Register” from the “Account Services” Menu on the homepage
  • Please enter the required information (Card holder name and Mobile number)
  • Please click on “Submit”
  • e-Dirham G2 Call Centre:
  • Please call Toll Free: 800MOF (800663).
  • Please answer the validation questions.
  • The agent will short register you once the validation is complete

Fully Register through:

e-Dirham G2 Website (for Red Al haslah Card only):

  • Please visit the e-Dirham G2 website:
    www.eDirhamG2.gov.ae <
  • Please click on “Register your Red Al haslah Card”
  • Please enter the required information and upload a scanned copy of a valid ID (Passport, EIDA card or Emirates driver’s license)
  • Please click on “Submit”
  • Please note down the "ticket number" that will appear on your screen
  • Please take your original ID and the "ticket number" to the nearest FAB branch to complete the registration process
  • FAB branches (for  both the Blue Al haslah and the Red Al haslah cards):
  • Please visit any FAB branch
  • Please fill out the e-Dirham Prepaid Card registration fo
  • Please provide original identification documents (i.e. Passport, EIDA card or Emirates driver’s license)
  • An FAB Customer Service Officer will fully register you
Apply/Register your Gold Al haslah:

Full Registration is required for purchase of the Gold Al haslah Card and can be done either through the e-Dirham G2 website or by visiting any FAB branch. Short registration is not applicable for this card.

Apply/Register through e-Dirham Website:

  • Please visit the e-Dirham G2 website: www.eDirhamG2.gov.ae
  • Please click on “Apply for Gold Al haslah Card”
  • Please select your application type: “*Corporate/Individual
  • Please enter the required information and upload a scanned copy of the required documents
  • If applying for an Individual card you need:

    • Card holder original valid ID (Passport, EIDA, Emirates driver’s license, card)
    • Card holder passport sized photo
    • Signature of card holder

    If applying for a Corporate card you need:

    • Card holder valid original ID (Passport, , EIDA card Emirates driver’s license)
    • Card holder passport sized photo
    • Signature of card holder
    • Company registration documents
  • Please select delivery mode (FAB branches or through courier**).
  • Please click on “Submit and Pay”
  • Please enter the required payment information and pay for your card purchase.

Apply/Register through FAB branches:

  • Please visit any FAB branch
  • Please fill out the Gold Al haslah Card application form
  • If applying for an Individual card you need:

    • Card holder original valid ID (Passport, EIDA, Emirates driver’s license, card)
    • Card holder passport sized photo
    • Signature of card holder

    If applying for a Corporate card you need:

    • Card holder valid original ID (Passport, , EIDA card Emirates driver’s license)
    • Card holder passport sized photo
    • Signature of card holder
    • Company registration documents
    • An FAB Customer Service Officer will assist you in completing the process and paying for the purchase of the card

*Both Individual and corporate cards are exactly the same in terms of functionality. The only difference is that the corporate card also has the company Arabic and English name written on it in addition to the card holder name

*Delivery through courier is subject to additional e-Dirham fees
